Update on The Toler Family!

Summer is here and we are feeling the heat in South Carolina! Only 9 more weeks before we welcome Baby Toler #2 to the family. We had an ultrasound today and are happy to report that everything is going well. All of my earlier problems have cleared, so now I just have to survive the summer heat. The baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule and already weighs 4 lbs! The doctor said we should have a big baby on our hands. Kieran has moved into his "big boy" room and is talking up a storm. His latest thing is making up songs and singing them into his microphone! We hope you all are having a great summer! Happy 4th of July!

I LOVE BASEBALL!

This is how Kieran summed up his first trip to a Major League Baseball game. Despite my reservations, Kieran had a great time at the Atlanta Braves baseball game with his daddy, granddaddy Toler and mommy. He was in awe of the stadium from the very beginning. He cheered when the crowd cheered and booed when Mets scored a point. He was definitely the cutest Braves fan in the crowd! He was also a great lucky charm because the Braves won 3-1 with a two point home run in the 8th inning. GO BRAVES!

Announcing our Pregnancy!

We are very excited to announce that we are expecting baby #2 on September 2, 2008. I was hoping to do a better job of keeping up with this blog, but this pregnancy has been more challenging than the first. A few weeks ago, my OB/GYN told me that I had placenta previa. Fortunately, there is still time for the placenta to move, but for now, I have to take it easy. Unfortunately, "taking it easy" is almost impossible with a precious yet active 2 year old. Please join us in praying for a healthy pregnancy. Kieran is still trying to understand all the changes in our house, but he is adjusting well. Recently, he told me that I had a baby dragon in my tummy!

Happy New Year!

One of my goals this year is to do a better job of staying in touch with friends and family. Many of my friends have started family blogs, and I thought that would be a great idea! I will try to keep our blog updated with pictures and postings of our family activities. I'm sure it will mostly consist of all the cute things Kieran is doing! Best of wishes for 2008!
