Making Memories Monday - Through the Eyes of a Child

Our kids have a pretty unstable life right now.  We've moved four times in the past year, and they know that we still have more moves ahead of us.  Maybe that is why our son, especially, seems to notices the little things around him.  The other morning, he came running into our bedroom and asked if he could borrow my camera.  He'd been outside to feed the dog (which came with the house we are sitting) and saw something he wanted to photograph.  This is the picture he came back with...

He said, "Mom, the dew on the grass was just so beautiful this morning."

I pray that even when our life gets more settled, he will always take the time to notice the little details in God's great creation!

"Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants." Deuteronomy 32:2

Our kids are fascinated by the moon. I think it's because when they were little and we were moving around quite a bit, the moon was one of the few elements of stability in their lives.
